Inside Polk features Drive for Excellence
Grades + Luck = a Drive for Excellence

Bartow Ford hosted its 18th annual “Drive for Excellence,” a program that offers Polk County students the chance to trade good grades for a 2011 Ford Fiesta, on Saturday, May 14.
“Every year we have so many great students enter,” said Benny Robles Sr., President/Chairman of Bartow Ford. “It’s an honor for us to be able to continue encouraging them to do the best they can through our ‘Drive for Excellence’ program.”
After finding out about the process to enter, Kelly McClure, a senior at Ridge Community High School and first time participant, was so excited about the possibility of winning that she calculated her odds. Kelly’s goal is to study biomedical engineering and go into preventive medicine.
